your body is a mirror
I see different variations of this story played out every day in my practice and have the job of showing people how the way they are living their lives is affecting their mental and physical health. Our bodies are reflections of our inner lives, relationships, careers and overall life satisfaction. Although diet and exercise are cornerstones of good health, they are only half of the equation.
If we want to take care of our physical bodies we have to take also take care of our minds, hearts and souls.
We need to move away from toxic relationships and towards loving healthy ones.
We need to speak our truth and live authentically.
We need to do more things that bring us joy and less of those that drain us.
We need to pursue our passions.
We need to live in harmony with ourselves and the people around us.
We need to forgive.
We need to let go.
We need to face our fears and find the strength that already exists inside of us to overcome them.
We need to mind our thoughts and be kind to ourselves.
We need to live a life of Love.
We are whole beings and this is holistic health.

as I remember, my week consist of…
Beach bum Saturday- Sunday sudden Laiya Batanggas trip.
Monday Rhian School blues
Tuesday we are absent because of the not so worth mentioning reason.
Wednesday headache attack, si tita Cands naghatid kay rhian, pero by afternoon we drop by to mall to get my daughter a new pair of rubber shoes. then pakabusog sa isang japanese fast food with dade and ate vivang tapos dumaan sa isang toy sale na ang nag enjoy at nakapag uwi ay si papa.
Thursday BINAT day! Rhian did not make it to school dahil di sya kaya asikasuhin ni Papa, dahil ako naman ay nag ka fever na! narinig ko na naman ang makabagbag damdaming linya ni Jay-r “alam mo na naman na ikaw ang bawal magkasakit” after took a quick shower nung hapon gumaang pakiramdam nakapag luto pa bangus belly with bagoong at kamatis for dinner.
Kanina nagbayad na ng school fee for an activity na later on ay di naman pala kami aatend, dahil napagkasunduan na naming tatlo. (yun lang dahilan). dumating si jerwin merienda ng pandesal w/hotdog bacon egg, jerwin di kumakain ng hotdog. may kasamang nescafe “good morning sa inyo” sweet and creamy coffee. na nagcheck lang ako e-mail konting facebook naubos na ni rhian. sa hapon may di kagandahang balita hatid si dade na strangely not good pero we are just too numb to care anymore. nagsaing pa ako ng marami pero we decided to eat out sa favorito naming ihawan. dahil dami pa tatapusin ang aming driver 9pm na kami nag dinner na-iwan si olive kasi pa petiks petiks kaya nun lang gumawa ng project. super busog na naman ako at sising sisi na naman sa dami ng kinain. nag tea na ako na bigay ni ate candice, nag elliptical for 20min dahil na kunsensya sa nilamon. now tulog na si rhian gising pa kaming dalawa ni Jay-ar bukas ang tv nasa history, ako eto napagkatuwaan mag type si jay ar nasa office sa kabialng pader at may overtime pa sa DOTA project nya. That’s all.
Weekend na naman… obese pa rin ako…masaya pala yung ganito… dati weight ko lang ngayon pati activity pwede na. kung may nagbabasa man malas mo boring ko.
Life is what we make it! And thanking God for the opportunity to live it!
